She studied English at Rutgers University and is pursuing a Master of Arts in Biblical Studies at Reformed Theological Seminary. Jocelyn has been on staff with Cru for 21 years in New Jersey, where she lives with her husband Mark and three highly dramatic children. Isaac Choi
Born in Korea, Isaac moved to the U.S. when he was four years old and grew up in Chicago. He studied physics and chemistry at Harvard, and theology and philosophy at Princeton Seminary, before receiving his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of Notre Dame. Isaac has also been a postdoctoral research fellow at Oxford University and visiting fellow at the Rivendell Institute at Yale University. His research interests focus on epistemology, philosophy of religion, and the relationship between faith and science. He met his wife Laura during their college years in Boston, and they are raising two young children in Oregon, where Isaac is assistant professor of philosophy at George Fox University near Portland.

Byron Straughn serves with Cru's Theological Development Team. He is married to Amy and they have 3 children: Graeme, Elinore and Jane. Byron studied at Virginia Tech (BS) and Southern Seminary (MDiv). He also serves as an elder in their church in Pennsylvania. Byron traveled and lived in several countries as a third culture kid and Cru staff member, including a stint to North Africa. He enjoys making new friends and learning about different perspectives over coffee and tea.

Drew Jackson
Born in Williamstown, NJ, Drew studied Political Science at the University of Chicago, and went on to gain his M.A. in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. After several years of pastoral and campus ministry work in Los Angeles and Pennsylvania, the Jackson family made the move to NYC to plant Hope East Village with the Hope Church NYC family of churches. Drew is also the cofounder and President of Pax, a nonprofit organization that is committed to promoting the peace of Jesus in the 21st century. Drew is deeply committed to seeing the contemplative life, and the work of prophetic justice and peacemaking embodied in his own life, his writing, and within the life of the church. One of Drew’s deep passions is poetry, and he is currently working on two books of poetry that will be published with InterVarsity Press, the first of which is scheduled for release in fall of 2021. He is blessed to share life with his wife Genay, and their twin daughters, Zora and Suhaila.
